# Trending

> 24-hour Top 10 of active groups. Score from raids, competitions, follows, AI, and size.

Active groups compete on a **24-hour** board (Top 10). Separate channel alerts fire when a group **climbs into a better Top 3 rank** than it already alerted this stint — not on drops or reclaiming the same rank.

## Score (simplified)

Competitions, target raids, large follows, AI gens, and member count. **All-Access / Premium groups get +50%.** Groups under **10 members** are excluded.

Private groups need a [portal link](https://raid.stormbots.io/docs/branding.md) so people can join from Trending posts. In-group `#trending N` can deep-link to the channel post.

Trending is automatic; there is no “turn on Trending” toggle in `/settings`.
