# Quick start

> Add the bot, open settings, turn on the influencer feed, then run a raid.

1. Add [@tweetstormbot](https://t.me/tweetstormbot) (or [@raidbot](https://t.me/raidbot)) to the group.
2. Make it an **admin** with permission to delete messages. For locked raids it also needs restrict members.
3. In the group, send `/settings` (admins) or `/start` and open the settings button.
4. **Influencer Raids → Feed settings** — turn the feed **on** if you want streamed tweets. Set delay, replies, and retweets.
5. Add at least one **template** if you want pre-filled X replies.
6. Optional: `/raid` in the group to raid a specific post.

> [!TIP]
>
> Private groups that want to show up on [Trending](https://raid.stormbots.io/docs/features/trending.md) should set a portal invite under **Custom Branding → Portal Link**, or `/portal https://t.me/+YourInvite`.
